GENDER EQUALITY

Women and girls represent half of the world’s population and, therefore, also half of its potential. Gender equality, besides being a fundamental human right, is essential to achieve peaceful societies, with full human potential and sustainable development. Moreover, it has been shown that empowering women spurs productivity and economic growth.

Working For Acid Victims:

MSF will be sponsoring Surgeries of Acid Victims and spreading "Smiles for Humanity" under the "UN SDG 5- Gender Equality" and doing our little contribution to bring a smile on the beautiful faces of young women and young children who have been burned with acid attacks and other mishaps.

Ending all discrimination against women and girls is not only a basic human right, it’s crucial for a sustainable future. t’s proven that empowering women and girls helps economic growth and development. It is vital to give women equal rights land and property, sexual and reproductive health, and to technology and the internet. Today there are more women in public office than ever before, but encouraging more women leaders will help achieve greater gender equality.
